For this, we rely on the combination of biotechnological and process engineering competencies in order to contribute to human well-being, a sustainable economy and an intact environment with the systems approach of bioeconomy and bioinspired, biointegrated and biointelligent solutions.

ISOE is one of the leading independent institutes for sustainability research. For more than 30 years, we have been developing scientific bases and future oriented concepts for politics, civil society and the economy – regionally, nationally and internationally.

Umwelttechnik BW, the state agency for environmental technology and resource efficiency (UTBW), has been networking all relevant information, activities and actors in Baden-Württemberg from business, science and politics since October 2011. Fifteen employees work on the bundling of the sector, strategic project development as well as consulting and support for companies with a special focus on SMEs.
